Growing up in Dalton, GA meant being surrounded by the rhythm of the "Carpet Capital of the World," where hard work and community spirit defined everyday life. It was a place where generations built their lives on resilience, resourcefulness, and a shared pride in their craft. Those years shaped my understanding of perseverance and the quiet beauty found in the connections we build with one another.
My work is deeply rooted in themes of identity, resilience, and the unseen narratives that shape us. I have a particular passion for working with those who often feel unseen—helping individuals, families, and communities tell their stories through heartfelt, reflective images. Whether it’s capturing the quiet strength of a family, the subtle contrasts in human emotion, or the spirit of a small community, my focus is always on creating something authentic and enduring.
Currently, I am exploring personal projects that delve into the ties that bind us—our roots, our connections, and our shared humanity. These include Project Connect and Project Synonym, along with a series on family and belonging. Through my lens, I aim to give voice to the stories words can't tell.
